Product Description

The Recochem Lacquer Thinner is built specifically for thinning shellac to make it easier to apply and provide a smooth finish.

How to Use

  • Gradually add just enough methyl hydrate to thin shellac, so it flows freely
  • Use to clean spray guns and any equipment used to apply shellac
  • Also use to dissolve gums, resins and celluloid substances
  • Use in well-ventilated areas only
  • Eliminate any sources of sparks or flames around this product

Build

When just enough thinner has been added to shellac, the finish will be smooth, stable and even. When using too much thinner, the finish can become runny, cause drips and prevent a high gloss finish and smooth surface.

Has a low freeze point and can be used to de-ice air line hoses on tractors and commercial vehicles in extremely cold temperatures.

Can also be used as fondue fuel as well as fuel for marine unpressurized alcohol stoves!

Replaces Dynamic Methyl Hydrate (DYNAA201200)

Should not be used as an anti-freeze for diesel fuel or be used as a vehicle fuel.
