Build
The DLS714Z Corldess Miter Saw is Built with a Dual Sliding Rail Mechanism incorporating 4 linear ball bearings provides increased rigidity to produce precise, adjustment free cuts right out of the box.
STAR battery protection system provides over-discharge, temperature and current protection for enhanced performance, battery cycle life and overall battery life.
The Miter Saw's Ergonomic Horizontal Soft Rubber Grip design for vibration absorption and comfortable operation.
- Bevel capacity of 45° left or 5° right
- Mitre capacity of 47° left or 57° right with positive stops at 0°, 15°, 22.5°, 30° & 45°
Max Cutting Capacity of 2.04724 inches (52mm)
Power
The miter saw's brushless DC motor has a high ratio of power-to-weight and size, and the motor generates less heat buildup, making it ideal for prolonged use in manufacturing / production jobs.
Automatic torque Drive Technology (ADT) feature adjusts the torque and speed according to the load condition, enabling rapid movement between high speed and high torque applications.
Includes an LED charge level indicator built to display approximate remaining battery power.
Safety
This Miter Saw includes a 2-Stage Safety Switch for increased operator safety and an Electric Brake built to stop the blade 3-5 seconds after trigger is released for increased operator safety.
Soft start feature gradually increases speed to eliminate start up shock.
