This website is operated by Calgary Fasteners & Tools Ltd. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Calgary Fasteners & Tools Ltd. Calgary Fasteners & Tools Ltd. offers this website, including all information, tools, and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.

We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.


SECTION 1 - ONLINE STORE TERMS

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).

You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.

A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.


1.1 - SUSPICIOUS ORDERS

If an order is deemed suspicious or a fraud threat by Calgary Fasteners & Tools we may require that you present documents to prove your identity:

  • A photocopy of a valid driver's license or government-issued photo ID of the owner of the credit card
    • Please BLACKOUT the Document Number (and any other sensitive information) before sending
    • We're ONLY interested in the picture, name, and address
  • A photo of the owner of the card, holding the valid photo ID (with the name clearly visible on the ID)
    • Please place a finger or a piece of tape over the Document Number (and any other sensitive information)
    • We're ONLY interested in seeing that the image and name match

Submission of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

If we do not receive these documents before the date stated in the email we will cancel your order and refund you your money.



1.2 - SHIPPING POLICY

To make sure our customers have the equipment they need, we offer multiple fast and convenient delivery options.

1.3 - PICKUP IN STORE

When selecting the shipment method "Pick Up at North Branch," "Pick Up at Foothills Branch," or "Pickup at Main Branch," the customer is expected to retrieve the product from the specified location AFTER they receive an email from calfast.com confirming that the product is ready for pickup.

We will only release pickup orders to the card holder, unless a prior agreement is made with a Calgary Fasteners staff member via email, or through the online messaging system.

When picking up the order the customer who completed the purchase must be present, and they must present a valid government issued ID that matches the order's billing address. If the ID does not match, the order will be held until the customer who completed the purchase is present, or confirms that someone else is authorized to pickup the product. If a customer wishes to authorize someone else for pickup they must email a Calgary Fasteners staff member with a copy of their own valid ID, and the full name of the authorized person(s).



1.4 - RETURN POLICY

If a customer purchases an item, the following rules will apply in the case of our RETURN POLICY.


  • *Special Order Products are NOT subject to return for any reason without prior management approval

  • *The item the customer wishes to return MUST NOT have been used and is in new condition

  • *Any potential return must be initiated within 30 DAYS from the date of purchase and proof of purchase is required from the customer

  • *Should a return be authorized, the goods MUST be returned in their original packaging

  • *To initiate a return, the customer MUST complete the return process (as found in the order history)

  • *Any approved return MUST be accompanied by our Return Material Authorization (RMA) available for download after return approval

  • *Depending on the circumstance which will be determined at the time of the request, the customer may be liable for restocking charges and/or return freight charges

  • *The vendor/manufacturer's warranty applies in all events as the primary warranty policy, while the secondary policy is applied by our store

  • *In the case of an approved return, it will be inspected by the vendor/manufacturer representative as part of the determination process

  • *If the return request is in a negative form, the customer will be given contact information so he is able to continue his return request through arbitration


At any point in the process, we may request an image(s) of the product to confirm the part number and condition.

A confirmation e-mail of approved or declined returns will be sent to the customer when a decision has been made.


All refunds will be made to the original form of payment.


If the reason for the return, resulted in our error, we will pay for shipping to return the product back to our store. If the reason for the return is not, the customer will be responsible for selecting a shipping provider and paying subsequent shipping fees.

  • Below the order total (in the merchandise return section) please type your reason for your return
  • In the dropdown (below the text box) Please select how you would like to be contacted in future correspondence
  • Then select “Make an RMA Slip”
  • At this point you may receive an error notice, please disregard this notice.

SECTION 2 - GENERAL CONDITIONS


We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

You understand that your content (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us.

The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.
