In many situations, 3M™ VHB™ Tape can replace other permanent fasteners.
The 4941 series tapes are built with acrylic foam which is viscoelastic in nature. This gives the foam energy absorbing and stress relaxing properties which helps provide these tapes with their unique characteristics. The acrylic chemistry helps provide outstanding durability performance.
3M™ VHB™ Tape 4941 bonds high and medium surface energy substrates. The all acrylic adhesive and conformable acrylic foam have made 3M™ VHB™ Tape 4941 a proven performer in harsh environments.
