The 3M 10 Bond Contact Cement is built to provide an instant bond for both porous and non-porous materials to other materials or to themselves.


Build

This adhesive air dries and provides an immediate bond to surfaces when pressure is applied to coated surfaces.

Get an instant and permanent bond with this contact cement.

Brush on to both surfaces of the materials you want to bond for best results.


No clamping required!


Safety

Do not breathe in vapors or get in eyes, on the skin or on clothing.

Wear indirect vented goggles, polymer laminate gloves, and a respirator.

How to Use

  • Surfaces must be clean, dust free, and dry
  • Stir well before applying
  • Apply a uniform and generous coat to both surfaces to be bonded together
  • Porous surfaces may need 2 coats
  • Dull spots after coat has dried require another coat
  • Pay extra attention to edges for a good bond
  • Allow cement to fully dry on both surfaces
  • Apply maximum pressure when connecting glued surfaces together

Clean-Up and Storage

Use a solvent based cleaner or 3M Contact Adhesive Solvent to clean up any excess product, brushes, and over-spill.

Dispose of contents and container according to HAZMAT procedures.
