Product Description
The 3M Cubitron II Fiber Disc 987C is built for high-pressure use on stainless steel.
Build
These discs use a ceramic abrasive grain that is extremely durable and lasts longer than aluminum oxide grain.
Built with a heavyweight fiber backing that is water resistant, allowing these discs to be used wet or dry.
Excellent for cutting efficiency in high-pressure applications.
Suitable for sanding stainless steel!
Storage
Store in a moisture controlled area that stays between 16°C and 27°C for longest product life.
- Coated Abrasives: A coated abrasive is an assembly of abrasive grains fixed with an adhesive to a backing material such as resin, rubber, polyester, paper, or cloth.
- Fiber Discs: Abrasive discs that are heavy-duty and durable due to the vulcanized fiber backing that is coated with resins. These discs need to be used with a rubber backing for support.
