Product Description
The GRK Fasteners R4™ Multi-Purpose Framing Screw is perfect for wood, plastic, cement fiber board, particle board, sheet metal, wood decking, and melamine.
This screw has a 4 threaded CEE thread.
The screw is meant for pressure treated lumber, cedar and redwood, though you should use the #9 or #10 gauges on deck boards and for southern yellow pine use a #10 gauge.
You can use this screw for all applications that include pressure treated lumber.
Some sizes of R4™ Multi-Purpose Framing Screws are available in PHEINOX™ stainless steel.
- Flat Head: A flat head has a flat top with a countersunk bearing surface. It's available with 4 lugs to assist with countersinking, and useful for general purpose construction.
- Structural Screws: Structural screws are built for heavy-duty construction projects. These screws often take the place of other more traditional fasteners and typically have more advanced features.
