Product Description
Aluminum oval swage sleeves are built for installing eyes onto wire rope for non critical applications.
These Aluminum Sleeves require a hydraulic press with special dies to swage the sleeve.
Material
This Sleeve's Aluminum construction guarantees VERY GOOD Corrosion Resistance in most environments.
This resistance is inherent to Aluminum and will not change with the admission of scratches and nicks.
Aluminum is a light / soft material.
PLEASE NOTE:
- A proof load test is recommended to determine actual holding strength.
- Aluminum sleeves and stops are not recommended for any critical overhead lifting applications.
