The BOSCH Compact Tough™ Driver Drill EC BL Motor (DDS182-02, DDS182-02L, DDS182BL) is equipped with an advanced, open-frame EC Brushless motor that provides the tool twice with the life of previous models.
Build
This drill driver has the most compact head length in its class for easy control in tight spaces.
It's built tough with Bosch exclusive Durashield™ housing and all METAL gearbox to withstand rugged jobsite conditions.
There is also a 4x bit tip holder for convenient on-tool bit storage on a magnetic bit holder.
Power
The EC brushless motor gives up to 2x the motor life, and has superior efficiency for longer runtime and no maintenance.
There are individually customized electronics that protect the motor and battery increasing tool and battery life.
The tool's cool pack technology has advanced heat conductive housing that keeps the battery cooler and extends the life of the tool.
Its superior power means it's one of the most powerful brushless compact drill drivers in its class capable of performing the broadest range of heavy duty applications.
The flexible power system is compatible with every 18V Lithium-Ion Bosch battery.
