Product Description
UCAN powder actuated fasteners are manufactured from high quality spring steel wire. For optimum hardness and toughness, all fasteners are heat treated to a core hardness of RC 50 - 54. To provide protection against corrosion, fasteners are zinc plated to a thickness of minimum 0.0003" (7.5μm).
You can use this fastener with UCAN Semi-Automatic Piston Drive Tool (LV 470), and also with DX 400 and DX 450.
This fastener comes with a 12mm washer for steel and concrete applications.

Application Limits for Fastening to Concrete
- Do not fasten into crack or spalled areas
- Concrete thickness > 4 inches
- Min. distance between fasteners > 3 inches
- Min. edge distance > 3 inches
- Shank Diamter = 0.145 inches
- Optimat Fastener Penetration for maximum holding power in concrete:
- 1-1/2" - Less than 2000 psi
- 1" - 2000 psi
- 3/4" - 5000 psi
