Product Description
The 3M Cloth Belt 984F is built to be used wet or dry in sanding all types of metals.
Build
These belts use a precision-shaped ceramic grain, which cuts faster than ceramic aluminum oxide grain, extending the life of the belt.
Built with a YF weight polyester cloth backing that is water resistant and extremely durable.
This belt is coated with a special grinding aid that helps to reduce heat buildup and increases sanding performance on metals.
Excellent for medium to high-pressure applications on stainless steel, exotic metals, carbon steel, cobalt chrome and nickel alloys.
Suitable for sanding all types of metals!
Storage
Store in a moisture controlled area that stays between 16°C and 27°C for longest product life.
- Coated Abrasives: A coated abrasive is an assembly of abrasive grains fixed with an adhesive to a backing material such as resin, rubber, polyester, paper, or cloth.
