  • Large O.D. - For use where an extra-wide bearing surface is required.
  • Built with thinner gauge metal than USS or SAE washers.
  • Suitable for use in highly corrosive environments.
  • Platings, Coatings & Finishes: There are a variety of coatings and platings that can be used in the prevention or delaying corrosion in fasteners. Platings and coatings can also enchance or change the physical look of nuts, bolts and washers for projects that require specific aesthetic care.
  • Fender Washer: A fender washers is built with a large O.D. creating an extra wide bearing surface. It's also built with thinner gauge metal than USS or SAE washers. A fender washer is usually used for fender and body work or for heater hose hole plugs when two washers are bolted together.
  • 316 Stainless Steel: Marine grade stainless (or SAE 316 stainless steel) is a corrosion resistant material for fasteners that contains approximately 16% to 18% chromium, and 10% to 14% nickle. It was built for the marine environment becasue of its greater resistance to pitting corrosion than other grades of stainless steel.
